JobFlow Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-19
Summary
JobFlow is a local-first job-application assistant. It stores saved job cards in the Chrome browser on your device by default. It does not sell personal data, run ads, auto-apply for jobs, or collect your browsing history.
Data JobFlow uses
When you choose Save & prepare, JobFlow reads the visible job-page information needed to make a job card: title, company, location, URL and job-description text. It also stores any status, notes and next action that you enter.
Where data is stored
Version 0.1 stores this data in chrome.storage.local. It remains in your browser until you edit, export, delete or uninstall the extension. You can export your saved job cards as a CSV file. This version does not send job descriptions, resumes or saved job cards to a JobFlow server.
Site access
JobFlow displays a floating button only on supported recruitment domains. It does not read a job description until you click Save & prepare. The toolbar popup reads the current page only when you click the extension.
Future changes
Any future optional cloud sync or AI analysis that transmits job or resume text will require an explicit user action and a policy update before release.
